Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience throughout the patient visit.

The Medical Assistant will perform clinical tasks and also handle front desk responsibilities, forming a versatile role that supports the care team and coordinates patient flow within our onsite and nearsite model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, assist with procedures and administer basic injections.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical record requests, and referrals.
• Record data in electronic medical records and communicate results to the patient.
• Support care team to develop and address gaps in patient care and engagement.
