Job summary

CloseKnit is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a full-time, in-person role in Woodley Park, DC. You will support clinicians with exams, take vital signs, and manage clinical and administrative duties in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of MA experience, current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, and CPR/BLS. Expect a collaborative, patient-centered environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with exams and in-office procedures.
• Conduct clinical intake with detailed patient histories and vitals.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
• Perform venipuncture and collect lab specimens.
• Operate EKG machines and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and HIPAA compliance.
