Bronson Primary Care Partners in Battle Creek is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role. Under a provider’s direction you will perform general nursing functions, record vital signs, immunizations, patient history, and support providers with patient care and documentation in the EMR system.

The position requires either completion of an accredited MA program or CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, with eligibility to obtain CMA/RMA within 6 months. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or CMA/CCMA/RMA certification.
• Eligibility to take CMA/RMA within 6 months of hire; Vocational Coordinator to determine CMA/RMA eligibility.
• Must meet one of the listed MA qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations and assess history, vitals, and basic clinical info.
• Document information in patient charts and ensure chart readiness for appointments.
• Administer treatments as directed by physician.
