BLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
Medical Assistant Certification/Registration required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
Proficiency with EMR systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examination including assessment, vital signs, histories and routine testing.
Administer treatments as requested by the physician.
Document patient information in charts and ensure chart accuracy.
Input and retrieve data in the organization’s EMR system.
Coordinate tests, referrals, and outside procedures as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver high-quality customer service.
