Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Tempe, AZ location. This full-time role (40 hours/week) supports primary care and mental health services onsite, with NextGen EMR experience preferred.

A Positive benefits package includes PTO, holidays, and language differential pay for bilingual applicants. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, taking histories, assisting clinicians, coordinating with behavioral health and other offices, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or able to obtain within 7 days).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; differential pay available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and take medical histories.
• Assist physician during examinations.
• Coordinate information with behavioral health and other specialty care offices.
• Follow up on calls and coordinate responses with medical staff.
• Update patient files and schedule medical tests and appointments.
• Greet patients, answer phones, and perform general clerical duties.
