Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Tempe, AZ location. Full-time position, 40 hours per week, in-office setting near Loop 202 / Priest, with a comprehensive benefits package including 401K.

Excellent compensation ($17.87-$21.50 per hour) and opportunity for bilingual differential pay. Primary responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting clinicians, and coordinating care across departments to support integrated behavioral health and primary care services.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate required.
• EMR experience: NextGen preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing medical assistant services to patients to establish and reach treatment goals.
• Prepares patients for examinations, takes histories, assists during examinations, explains procedures.
• Coordinates patient information with behavioral health and other care offices.
