Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Olive Avenue Health Center location in Glendale, AZ. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, in-office with a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates will hold a Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate and have experience with NextGen EMR, strong communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. A valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card is required and a drug screen/TB test will be administered.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate required.
• EMR experience with NextGen preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance (Level 1) within 7 working days.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assisting to patients to establish and reach treatment goals.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists physician during exams.
• Coordinates information with behavioral health and other specialty care offices.
• Handles phone calls, scheduling, and general clerical duties as needed.
• Updates patient files and schedules tests or hospital admissions.
