Job summary

Terros Health in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for our primary care and integrated behavioral health teams. This on-site role supports exam preparation, patient intake, and coordination of care.

You will work closely with physicians and behavioral health staff, perform administrative duties, and help maintain accurate patient records. Experience with NextGen EMR is preferred. Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate required.
• EMR experience, NextGen preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Level 1) or ability to obtain within 7 working days.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and take medical histories.
• Assist the physician during examinations.
• Coordinate information with behavioral health and other offices.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and greet patients.
