Job summary

Terros Health in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Olive Avenue Health Center. This full-time, 40-hour/week position runs Monday–Friday at a single site, with comprehensive benefits and a language differential pay option.

Prior NextGen experience is a plus, and compensation ranges are outlined in the ad. The MA will prepare patients, take histories, assist the physician, coordinate care, manage calls and scheduling, and ensure accurate documentation within the team-based

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate is required.
• Experience with NextGen EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and take medical histories.
• Assist the physician during examinations and explain procedures.
• Coordinate information with behavioral health and other offices.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients.
• Maintain patient files and complete documentation per guidelines.
• Follow up on missed appointments and coordinate with care teams.
