Job summary

Ascension Medical Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a day shift, full-time role in Primary Care. You will interview patients, collect vital signs, and prepare treatment spaces to support clinicians in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities include documenting patient journeys with confidentiality and helping maintain clinic flow by managing supplies and procedures. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire; CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Note: Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
