Job summary

Ascension in Wichita, KS seeks a full-time CMA for day shifts in the Ascension Medical Group facility. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of related experience) and a BLS certification within 30 days. CMA preferred; EHR/EMR experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Support clinical excellence by assisting physicians and nurses with real-time treatments, directly contributing to positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain seamless continuity of care by documenting patient journeys and managing essential records with precision and confidentiality.
• Optimize clinic flow by proactively managing medical supplies and administrative tasks, ensuring the team has the resources necessary to focus on patient health.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
