Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant cares for patients, performs clinical activities, documents procedures, assesses patient information, and responds to emergencies, ensuring quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year related experience or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship, or 6 months relevant experience within AdventHealth
• CPR Certification
• Maintains required certifications (e.g., AAMA, AMCA, AMT, etc.)
• State of Florida Paramedic License (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Urgent care or ED experience
