Upperline Health, Inc. is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians in the Cahaba, AL clinic, handling clinical and administrative tasks. Experience in podiatry or orthopedics and X-ray is a plus, with strong communication and a patient‑centered approach.

You will join a team focused on value-based care, contribute to care coordination, and help ensure high-quality patient experiences through thorough charting and coordination with care navigators and providers.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant; MA Certification is a plus
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
• X-ray experience is a plus
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication
• Reliable transportation and pass background/drug checks

Responsabilidades

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits
• Complete exam intake and review medical/social/surgical histories
• Conduct health assessments and coordinate care for Upperline Plus patients
• Telephonic outreach to coordinate ongoing preventative care
• Assist with x-rays and sterile exam/x-ray room procedures
• Stock exam rooms and manage daily administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate charting and EMR documentation
• Coordinate referrals and appointment scheduling as needed
