Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant for 100% FTE, standard clinic hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at UW Health N Alpine Clinic. The role requires completing an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus HS diploma or equivalent and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
