Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Charles St clinic in northern Illinois. This 100% FTE role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at 1340 Charles St.

You will be part of a team providing patient care and administrative support in a clinic setting. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, PTO, retirement, and tuition assistance, along with on-site wellness programs and potential childcare options.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Medical Assistant program or 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting preferred.

Job description

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
