Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant to work 100% FTE, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm at the UW Health N Alpine Clinic, 1253 N Alpine.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, documenting in the chart, and supporting clinic operations. Requirements include MA program or 2+ years clinic experience, and active RMA/AAMA/CCMA/NCCT certification with CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent or highest degree completed.
• Graduate from an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or have at least 2 years of relevant clinic experience.
• RMA/AAMA/CCMA/NCCT certification required upon hire; CPR/BLS certification required.
• Active certification must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
