Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or 5+ years of experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is required.
• This role is part of the TB screening program and may require TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patients as the first point of contact.
• Perform clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, discussing symptoms, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Administer vaccines where certified and document all activities in the EMR.
• Maintain examination rooms and support physicians and APNs.
