Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy and laboratory support responsibilities in Florida. You will assist physicians during in-office procedures, perform phlebotomy and tests, and handle QA and documentation in the EMR system.

The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards and may involve multi-site responsibilities. Phlebotomy experience and BLS are preferred, with a focus on accurate testing results, customer service, and collaboration

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required by state.
• Venipuncture experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR documentation and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing with QC checks.
• Prepare specimens and manage EMR documentation.
• Schedule outside testing and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
