Qualifications

• State or national certification (as required by state) or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Computer skills: able to navigate multiple programs (Gmail/Docs/Excel).
• Non-English language proficiency as required by the center's demographics.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow: room patients, take vital signs, complete screenings and reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (lab results, records).
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests as permitted by state.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers as required.
