Team1Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Cypress, TX for an in-office, temporary-to-hire role. You will support patient care, perform blood draws and assist staff with clerical tasks.

Qualified candidates have MA training, a phlebotomy certificate, and at least five years in a clinic setting. Med Spa experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic/physician office setting.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history and measure vital signs.
• Educate patients on medications and treatment plans as instructed by physician or PA.
• Maintain patient charts; ensure labs and reports are filed and available.
• Perform blood draws.

Job Description

One of the premier Med Spa clinics in Cypress is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who will perform patient care and assist clerical and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

• Escorted patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history and measures vital signs.
• Educated and may give directions to patients regarding medication and treatment plan as instructed by physician or physician assistant
• Maintained patient charts ensuring all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patient records.
• Perform blood draws.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Five years of Medical Assistant experience within a clinic/physician office setting is required.
• Must have obtained Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
• Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a Med Spa is a strong plus.
• Must have obtained a Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited program.
