Job summary

Team1Medical, partnering with a premier pediatric clinic in Houston, TX, seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time, temporary-to-hire position.

The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, and charting during patient and provider encounters, while supporting documentation in the EMR. Growth opportunities exist within a multi-location pediatric network.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year as Medical Assistant in a specialty clinic.
• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Willing to travel to other clinic locations in Northwest Houston.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients upon arrival for examination preparation.
• Document patient encounters in real-time alongside the provider using the EMR system.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of medical documentation, histories, and treatment plans.
• Assist patients with completing forms and updating medical records as needed.
• Monitor patient flow and notify providers of patient arrival to maintain efficient scheduling.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.

Medical Assistant | $15-$19 | Full Time | Temporary to Hire

Job Description

One of the premier Pediatric clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant who will room patients, take vital signs, and chart during patient and provider interactions.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 5 p.m.; Tuesday: 8 am to 6pm/6:30pm

Location: Houston, TX 77379

Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients upon arrival for examination preparation
• Document patient encounters in real-time alongside the provider using the EMR system

• Comfortable traveling to other clinic locations within the Northwest Houston area.
• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
