Role Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) works under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider within a physician or APP office team. The role involves performing clinical skills within the scope of practice, with regular interaction with physicians, nurses, front office staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Patient care tasks such as organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with exams, specimen collection, medication administration, and relaying instructions.
• Clerical duties including managing medical records, facilitating referrals, and preparing forms.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Preferred: Minimum one year of healthcare experience

Compensation & Benefits
