Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full-time Clinic Medical Assistant for the Franciscan Practice Clinic in Enumclaw, WA. About Your Position

As a Medical Assistant, you will work as part of a care team to provide patient care and support under the supervision of a physician or mid-level provider. Your daily duties include:

• Greeting and preparing patients for their visits by obtaining and recording vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medications, and presenting problems.
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures such as blood draws, skin tests, and injections.
• Administering medications and vaccinations.
• Managing patient flow, providing education to patients and families.
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining clean and organized patient care areas.
• Scheduling appointments and performing administrative duties.
• Participating in continuing education, meetings, and committees.
• Potentially performing medical scribe duties under supervision, in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program.

Skills/Abilities

• Preferred: One year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Licensure/Certifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
