Position Overview

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound Region, is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare for children and adolescents. Role Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) supports the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team under supervision, performing clinical and clerical tasks within their scope, and maintaining continuous contact with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care Responsibilities:
    • Manage patient flow and assist with exams and treatments
    • Interview patients and obtain vital signs
    • Assist with specimen collection and medication administration
    • Communicate instructions to patients and families
  2. Clerical Responsibilities:
    • Manage medical records and referrals
    • Prepare necessary forms
Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of healthcare experience

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $24.58 - $35.36/hour, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, retirement, and paid time off. Compensation is influenced by experience, education, and certifications.
