Yoh is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Pediatric Neurology clinic in Pleasant Hill, CA. The role includes administrative tasks, patient care, and clinical support; a 3-month assignment that could extend.

You should be CMA/RMA/CCMA certified with 2+ years of experience, BLS/CPR, EMR experience (EPIC preferred), and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm; on-site.

Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) with 2+ years
• Experience in multiple specialties or neurology preferred
• Administering vital signs and assessing patients
• EMR documentation experience (EPIC a huge plus)

Responsabilités

• Manage calls, patient check-in, scheduling, registration, insurance, authorizations, and co-pays
• Maintain electronic medical records and patient documentation
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist with exams and procedures
• Perform injections, skin tests, venipuncture, specimen collection
• Process prescription refills and other duties as assigned

Medical Assistant - Pediatric Neurology (BH-401305)

Location Pleasant Hill, United States Sector Medical & Nursing Salary $25.00 to $29.00 per hour

Medical Assistant needed temporarily for a Pediatric Neurology clinic opportunity with Yoh’s well-known medical center client located in Pleasant Hill, CA. This is a pediatric clinic role supporting the healthcare needs of children. Duties include administrative task, patient care, and clinical support! Must be able to commit to the full 3-month (may extend past 3 months) entirety of the assignment.

Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Top Skills You Should Possess

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) for 2 or more years
• Experience working either in multiple specialties or preferably Neurology
• Administering measuring vital signs and assessing patients
• EMR documentation experience (EPIC a huge plus!)
• Strong customer service and ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, dedicated, and helpful employee

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manages calls, patient check-in, scheduling, registration, insurance, authorizations, and co-pays.

• Rooms patients, obtains vital signs, and assists with exams and procedures.
• Performs authorized clinical tasks including injections, skin tests, venipuncture, and specimen collection.
• Processes prescription refills and performs other assigned duties.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

• BLS/CPR certified
• Yearly 2 Step TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test
• Proof of immunization/titer records for MMR & Varicella
• Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking as this is a fast-paced clinic
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills,and must be a team player
