Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Pediatric Neurology clinic in Pleasant Hill, CA. The role includes administrative tasks, patient care, and clinical support; a 3-month assignment that could extend.

You should be CMA/RMA/CCMA certified with 2+ years of experience, BLS/CPR, EMR experience (EPIC preferred), and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm; on-site.

Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) with 2+ years
• Experience in multiple specialties or neurology preferred
• Administering vital signs and assessing patients
• EMR documentation experience (EPIC a huge plus)

Responsibilities

• Manage calls, patient check-in, scheduling, registration, insurance, authorizations, and co-pays
• Maintain electronic medical records and patient documentation
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist with exams and procedures
• Perform injections, skin tests, venipuncture, specimen collection
• Process prescription refills and other duties as assigned
