Purpose Statement/Position Summary

The Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience

• 1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Education/Licensure/Certification

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required.
• California Medical Assistant certification preferred. AHA CPR required.
