Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Primary Care Longmeadow in Niles, IL. Under licensed supervision, you will assist with patient flow, examinations, procedures, and medication administration within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Competency-based Medical Assistant training program completion (CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/RMA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow and prepares patients for visits per provider guidance.
• Assists with examinations, procedures, and treatments by preparing patient and ensuring supplies/equipment are available.
• Maintains and monitors electronic health records and documentation standards.
• Performs administrative duties to keep information current and up-to-date.
