Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Competency-based Medical Assistant training program
• CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/RMA certifications
• BLS certifications (AHA/ARC)
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate efficient patient flow and prepare patients for visits per provider instructions.
• Maintain and update information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Keep the clinical environment clean and properly stocked; report equipment issues.
• Greet patients and families with care and respect, coordinating with the health care team.
• Collect, monitor and report patient data to licensed team members as directed.
• Assist with examinations and treatments, prepare supplies, and document medications as directed.
