Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completed Medical Assisting training from an accredited college.
• CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt medical support; maintains exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Educates patients and addresses questions to alleviate anxieties.
• Supports providers in patient care and ensures accurate data collection.
• Maintains confidentiality and communicates effectively with staff.
• Works flexible or extended hours as needed.
• Participates in in-services and staff meetings.
