Job summary

United Health Centers is hiring Medical Assistants to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art health centers in Fresno, CA. We welcome experienced MAs and new grads who can deliver compassionate patient care and support providers.

You will help maintain patient flow, collect data, educate patients, and ensure a smooth clinical environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills are valued; CPR certification and driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medical Assisting program from accredited college.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt medical support and maintain patient flow.
• Educate patients and alleviate anxiety while addressing questions.
• Assist providers in patient care and maintain exam rooms.
• Communicate clearly with supervisor and staff.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
• Respect confidentiality and privacy policies.
