Job summary

United Health Centers in California is seeking Medical Assistants (MA) to join our state-of-the-art health centers. You will support providers, assist patients, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient clinic environment.

We welcome experienced MAs and new graduates. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required. The role requires strong customer service, computer skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medical Assisting program from an accredited college.
• CPR certification and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt medical support and ensures smooth patient flow.
• Educates patients and alleviates anxieties; interfaces with community activities.
• Maintains exam rooms, equipment, and supplies; supports providers.
