Kaiser Permanente Washington is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at the Rainier Medical Center in Seattle. The MA will perform message management and back-office duties, with a standard 8-hour shift Monday through Friday; start times vary.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited MA program (or military MA experience with MA-I eligibility), and MA-C within 12 months of hire, plus Basic Life Support at hire.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program prior to start date or equivalent Military experience with ability to obtain MA-I prior to start date.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) or Interim MA Certificate required at hire; MA-C within 12 months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Mansioni

• Collect data on patients' health status and vital signs; document information in the medical record.
• Communicate with patients and families; coordinate care with the health team.
• Provide patient education aligned with the care plan and preventive information.
• Document patient history and procedures; maintain a safe and private environment; adhere to safety and infection control policies.
• Participate in staff orientation and performance review processes.
