Kaiser Permanente Washington is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Bellevue Medical Center care team. You will work with nurses, physicians, and caregivers to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Essential qualifications include a Washington MA credential (or MA-I with plans to obtain MA-C), a high school diploma or GED, and BLS. The position is full-time, onsite with daytime hours.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program prior to start date/transfer or equivalent Military experience with ability to obtain MA-I prior to start date.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support required at hire

Responsabilidades

• Collect health status data and vital signs; document in medical record.
• Communicate in an attentive, individualized manner; coordinate care with the health team.
• Provide patient and family education aligned with the nursing plan of care.
• Document patient history and procedures; maintain safe, private environment.
• Demonstrate accountability and participate in staff orientation and performance reviews.

Educación

High School Diploma OR GED

Graduate of accredited MA program or equivalent Military experience with MA-I

Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (WA)

Medical Assistant Certificate (WA) within 12 months

Basic Life Support
