Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking a Medical Assistant for the La Pine, Oregon clinic. The MA will manage daily patient flow, triage information, and support physicians to ensure efficient, compassionate care for our community.

Required: high school diploma or GED; current MA certification or Oregon licensure/EMT/PNP options; experience with ICD-10 and medical records is preferred. Relocation assistance offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10 and coding conventions.
• Experience with medical practice management software.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for physician assessment.
• Record and maintain patient data in medical charts.
• Assist physicians with patient calls and referrals.
• Perform physician-requested ancillary and minor surgical procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventories; support safety and confidentiality.
