Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in patient examinations and care planning. Under supervision, you will room patients, document vital signs, prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures, while following AHN protocols.

The role may involve scribing duties and travel between AHN locations. A High School diploma or Medical Assistant program completion is required, with certification within 120 days of hire.

Formación

• High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Accepted Medical Assistant Certifications: NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients and document vital signs, history, tobacco, and medications in the EHR.
• Assist with examinations and procedures; may serve as a scribe.
• Document accurately in the EHR and perform clerical duties.
• May require floating/travel between AHN locations.
