Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Medical assistant office or occupational health/ED experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Medical assistant certification, CAOHC certification, BAT, and UDS collection or obtained within 6 months of hire; BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation regulations.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, employers, case managers, and consultants.
• Register patients, set up client accounts, and schedule appointments.
• Be organized and manage time effectively.
• Work well in a team setting.
• Transition smoothly between treatment settings as needed.
• Utilize the hospital computer system.
