Job summary

Indiana Regional Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant for Urgicare in Blairsville, PA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on patient care and supporting urgent care operations.

You will register patients, schedule appointments, and coordinate with the care team, while adhering to worker’s compensation regulations and hospital procedures. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, medical assistant certification, and BLS; CAOHC, BAT and UDS collection experience are preferred

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical assistant office or occupational health/ED experience preferred.
• Certifications: Medical assistant certification, CAOHC, BAT, and UDS Collection or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
