Qualifications

- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR graduate with 1 year clinical medical assisting experience in the past 5 years, OR CMA certification with 1 year experience, OR LPN, OR Paramedic/EMT with 1 year clinical experience, OR military trained medical personnel with 1 year clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room in a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and document vital signs as part of patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures to facilitate efficient care delivery.
