Henry Ford Health seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinicians at the Moross Road campus. You will greet patients, collect histories, take vital signs, and prepare patients for exams, while assisting providers during procedures to ensure a smooth, compassionate patient experience.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour externship and current BLS-C certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. (Required)
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with 160-hour externship. (Required)
• Current BLS-C certification at hire or by end of orientation. (Required)
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. (Preferred)
• EPIC EMR experience. (Preferred)

Responsabilités

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care.
• Measure and record vital signs for comprehensive assessments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are informed and at ease.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures to facilitate efficient care.
