Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant required and graduates from an accredited MA program.
• Ambulatory health care experience preferred.
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and other procedures.
• Administer injections and conduct EKGs.
• Assist with lab testing, wound care, and dressing changes.
• Accurate clinical documentation and coding per EPIC EMR.
