Job summary

Premier Physician Network in Huber Heights, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN for full-time placement. The role supports physicians and provides general clinical care, patient prep, and efficient patient flow, with a focus on delivering excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, performing procedures such as EKGs, pulmonary function tests, injections, lab work, wound care, and accurate documentation in EPIC EMR, while adhering to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant required and graduates from an accredited MA program.
• Ambulatory health care experience preferred.
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.

Family Medicine of Huber Heights (MA or LPN)

FT / 80 hours per pay period

Summary Of Position

A Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.

Our Medical Assistant are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time.

Nature and Scope

Independently performed proceduresmay include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate
• Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service

standards.

• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
