Job summary

Family Medicine of Huber Heights in Ohio seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support the Premier Physician Network. The MA will room patients, record vitals, perform procedures, and help ensure excellent patient experience under supervision of the Practice Manager and center physicians.

Responsibilities include administering injections, performing EKGs, lab tests, hearing/vision screening, and using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Certified Medical Assistant and graduate from an approved program.
• Experience in ambulatory health care is preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and support management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to deliver high patient care and customer service.
• CPR certification within 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect vitals for visits.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and administer injections.
• Conduct EKGs, breathing treatments, and basic lab testing.
• Do dressing changes, wound care, and hearing/vision tests.
• Provide care under supervision of Practice Manager and physicians.
• Support in delivering excellent patient experience at all times.
