Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant and CMA certification.
• Prior ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to provide high patient care and customer service.
• CPR certified within the first 3 months.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Understanding HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect vitals.
• Perform injections, EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and lab testing.
• Dressing changes and wound care.
• Assist in patient care and patient experience.
• Document accurately and thoroughly.
