Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across clinics. Under supervision, you will perform or assist in a variety of procedures, record vital signs, administer injections, draw blood, and assist with EKGs and immunizations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with six months MA/PCT experience, or completion of CMA/RMA/EMT/LPN programs. Rural clinics may require BLS within 6 months. Work hours are 8a-5p.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months medical assistant/patient care tech experience.
• Or completion of CMA/RMA/EMT/LPN programs.
• BLS certification within 6 months for Rural Health Designation clinics.
• Travel between clinics for float positions if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and basic patient care tasks.
• Assist with exams, procedures, vaccines, and phlebotomy as directed; administer injections and draw blood.
• Prepare rooms, manage supplies, and document interventions in patient charts.
• Assist with prescriptions, lab slips, and office visits as needed.
