Job summary

SIHF Healthcare's Instacare Granite City site is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in Granite City, IL. You will deliver direct patient care and support clinical staff, handling vital signs, specimen collection, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document results in patient chart.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist doctors during exams/procedures.
• Administer injections and perform CLIA-waived tests as directed.
• Obtain medical records and coordinate referrals and authorizations.
