Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Typing experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend CPR classes and code drills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willingness to work at any center during staffing emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain accurate vital signs.
• Triage patients and prepare for medical examinations.
• Understand and use the EMR system.
• Order lab, x-ray, and medical supplies as directed.
• Notify Nurse/Physician when patient ready for exam and relay questions.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with treatment and care.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab duties.
• Sterilize and set up instruments; maintain rooms.
• Restock supplies and manage laundry as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and support center operations.
