Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, assist with registrations and vital signs, and support physicians across exams and minor procedures.

The role involves phlebotomy, immunizations when certified, on-site lab tests such as EKGs and glucose testing, and travel to nearby clinics as needed. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences courses, or related experience.
• Active MA certification may be required for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Practice specialties.
• CPR certification required, or willingness to become certified on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years of medical office patient-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and first aid procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Process provider orders, update charting, and maintain filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms.
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying CARE values.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences, or related experience required
• Active medical assistant certification may be required for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice specialties through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA
• CPR certification required, or willingness to become certified upon hire
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience in a medical office assisting with patient care
• Ability to perform EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy testing
• Ability to assist with immunizations or injections when certified
• Ability to travel to other local clinics as needed
