NYU Langone Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (FGP) to join the Manhattan team. The role involves supporting physicians and nurses, preparing rooms, collecting vital signs, drawing blood, and handling scheduling and data entry in EPIC.

The successful candidate will perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and a positive patient experience, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current MA certification is required.
• English language competency and basic computer skills are necessary.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and procedures.
• Prepare rooms, gather supplies, and document vital signs and specimens.
• Schedule appointments and manage EMR data entry.
• Support EPIC charting, patient flow, and accurate record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with providers and administrative staff.
• Assist with inbasket messages and patient communication as needed.
