Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam rooms
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms
• Measures and records patient vital signs
• Obtains and processes blood samples per NYULH policy
• Supports quality initiatives by documenting EMR information
• Promotes a positive patient experience
• Communicates with providers and staff, escalates issues
• Answers phone calls
• Reviews inbasket messages
• Follows up on Rx refill requests
• Assists with patient intake and transcribing visit into EPIC
• Performs other duties as needed
• Completes intake and vital signs within scope of practice
